Khus is an aromatic grass of the species vetiveria zizanoides grown in and around Aligarh. A coolant, khus essential oil relieves nervousness, insomnia, rheumatism and is an excellent muscular relaxant. A bath with khus glycerine soap ensures relaxation of body and mind.
