This is known as Malani Pattu (Shawls or Dhurries). They are customary products woven in Western Rajasthan.The textile is laboured upon in a twill lace on a pit loom and innumerable designs are fashioned through the technique of interlocking and extra weft decoration. This pattu is made of pure cotton so that one can use it like a shawl, bed sheet, cover sheet, Durries and even to hang as wall hangings covering the walls.
